number of moles of a solute dissolved in 1 litre of solution is called as molarity of solution. molarity is a concentration term.
molarity = (w*1000)/(m.m.*V(in ml))

It is defined as the number of gram moles of the solute present in one kilogram of solvent. It is denoted by ''m''. Units of molality are mol kg⁻¹. It is independent of temperature. Molality is most accurate and theoretically the best method of expressing concentration.

 Molality (m) is given as

       m = number of solute/number of kg of solvent (or) w/GMW × 1000/W

Here w and W are mass of solute and solvent, respectively in grams. GMW is the gram molecular mass of solute.
