(c) & (e) Melting point of the substance = 15°C
Boiling point of the substance = 115°C
These 2 points are enough to say that the substance is not water as the melting and boiling points do not match with that of water.

(d)During the process of melting and boiling, it is clear from the graph that the temperature is not increasing and remains constant.
It is because as the heat is being supplied, when the substance reaches it melting or boiling points, the heat is used up in changing the state of the substance, so its temperature remains constant, where as in all other cases the heat is used in increasing the temperature of the substance.
