Apply componendo and dividendo
x + a)/ x-a = y + b)/ y-b
xy - xb + ay - ab= xy + xb - ay - ab
- 2xb +2ay = 0
ay = xb
Multiply both sides by x/y
ax = x^2 b/y
As ax + by = a^2 + b^2
x^2 b/y + by = a^2 + b^2
x^2 b + by^2 = y( a^2 + b^2)
y^2 b - y( a^2 + b^2) + x^2 b= 0
As ay = xb
x= ay/b
y^2 b - y( a^2 + b^2) + a^2 y^2/b = 0
y^2 b^2 - y b( a^2 + b^2) + a^2 y^2 = 0
y( y b^2 - b( a^2 + b^2) + A^2 y) = 0
y ( b^2 + a^2) = b( a^2 + b^2) or y= 0
y= b , 0
