1)Flowers have male parts called stamens that produce a sticky powder called pollen. Flowers also have a female part called the pistil. The top of the pistil is called the stigma, and is often sticky. Seeds are made at the base of the pistil, in the ovule.

2)Fertilization takes part in the ovary of a female flower. Wind or pollinators carry the pollen from the male anthers to the female flower parts. After the pollen lands on the stigma, a pollen tube forms, and male reproductive material travels down the style and into the ovary, where it fertilizes an ovule.

3)The pleasant fragrance of flowers and yellow labellum attract them, and when the insects sit, the pollens stick to them resulting in the pollination.

4)Some orchids lure their pollinators through sexual deception. Oncidium henekenii is pollinated by male bees trying to mate with the flower, which resembles a female bee. Some orchid flowers deceive their pollinators by mimicking the appearance and scents produced by female insects.
