For 44, the final answers are those I've drawn on the figure.
For 45, as you know, two lines drawn from the same point when tangentially touch the circle, the lines are equal. So just add ER + ES + SF + FP + PG + GQ + QD + DR which gives 35cm as the perimeter of DEFG, if I'm not wrong..
