SOLUTION TO YOUR QUESTION:

u =  - 15 \: cm \\ m =  - 2 \: cm \\ as \: we \: know \: that \: m =  \frac{v}{u}  \\

Therefore:-

 - 2 =  \frac{v}{ - 15}

so: v = 30cm---------(a)

By lens formula:-----

 \frac{1}{f}  =  \frac{1}{v}  -  \frac{1}{u}

so  \:   \frac{1}{f}  =  \frac{1}{30}  - ( \frac{1}{ - 15} ) \\  \frac{1}{f}  =  \frac{1}{30}  +  \frac{1}{15}  =  \frac{1}{10}

therefore:- f = 10cm----------(b)

Distance of image from the lens= 30cm

From (a) and (b):-

Image is formed beyond 2f

HOPE IT HELPS YOU........
