I have read Charles De Coster's book "The mysterious Picture" I liked the character Tyl in the story very much. He is a Flemish painter and he aspires to be a court painter one day. One day he visited the palace of Archduke of Battenberg. He was stopped at the gate to the palace by the Captain of the Guards. Later Tyl was allowed to meet the Archduke. .Tyl and his companions enjoyed their life in the palace.
