Formula Used :

Solution :

Let :

  • Breadth of Rectangular Plot be x .
  • Length of Rectangular Plot be 3x - 6

According to the Formula :-

148 = 2(l + b)

148 = 2(3x - 6 + x)

148 = 2(4x - 6)

148/2 = 4x - 6

74 = 4x - 6

74 + 6 = 4x

80 = 4x

80/4 = x

20 = x

Therefore , Value of x is 20 .

Hence ,

Length of Rectangular Plot = 3x - 6

= 3(20) - 6

= 60 - 6

= 54

Breadth of Rectangular Plot = x

= 20

Therefore , Length and Breadth of Rectangular Plot are 54 m and 20 m .
