l∆al means change in the magnitude of vector a.
the magnitude of the vector remains constant ie. lal so change in the magnitude of vector is zero.

But as angle is changed , the vector is also changed , so change in vector from a specific direction is not zero.
if we calculate the change it will be
lal(cos dtheta).
