You'll Have to know about what is a strong and weak ligands.

Strong field ligands can cause pairing while weak cannot .

There is an order of strong to weak ligands in the NCERT.

In questions draw the outter electronic config and fill each shell with electrons according to the energy and remove few electrons according to the oxidation state of the metal.

if strong ligand then pair the rest otherwise whatever no. of electrones are left unpaired is you're required number.

shobhaksksmg: Then answr for the above qusn is option 3 right??
