hope this helps you
Types:Kepler's first law
a law stating that the orbit of each planet is an ellipse with the sun at one focus of the ellipse
Kepler's second law, law of areas, law of equal areas
a law concerning the speed at which planets travel; a line connecting a planet to the sun will sweep out equal areas in equal times
Kepler's third law, harmonic law
a law stating that the ratio of the square of the revolutionary period (in years) to the cube of the orbital axis (in astronomical units) is the same for all planets
Type of:law, law of nature
a generalization that describes recurring facts or events in nature

♠ ANSWER :
❇ KEPLER'S LAW
To explain the motion of planets, KEPLER'S formulated 3 laws :
1). First Law ( LAW OF ORBITS)
❇ Each planet revolves around the sun in an elliptical orbit with the sun situated one of the foci.
2) Second Law ( LAW OF AREAS)
❇ The radius vector drawn from the sun to a planet sweeps out equal areas in equal intervals of time, ie, the areal velocity ( area covered per unit time) of a planet around the sun is constant.
3). Third Law ( THE LAW OF PERIODS)
❇ The square of the period of revolution of a planet around the sun is directly proportional to the cube of the semimajor axis of it's elliptical orbit.
T ² ∝ R ³
T ² = k R ³.
