AVAGADRO

Lorenzo Romano Amedeo Carlo avagadro is know as avagadro . He was born on 9 August 1776 in Turin , Italy . He was an Italian scientist & chemist . He proposed avagadros law , avagadros number & avagadros constant. He studied at University of Turin italy .

About Avagadro's number:

Avagadros number is denoted by N , where N = 6.023 × 10²³ particles , ions , atoms or molecules that's equal to 1 mole.

About Avagadro's law:

Avagadros law is at same temperature and pressure equal volumes of all the gases contain equal number of moles (n) or molecules (N)

In other form

V directly proportional to n or N. ( At constant pressure & temperature )

Let us assume

  • Pressure be P
  • Temperature be T

Then,

If we remove the proportionality . We will get a constant known as avagadros constant

→ V = Kn

→ V/n = K

If V1 = V2 & n1= n2

V1/n2 = V2/n2

Answer:

D. Amedeo Avogadro (August 9, 1776–July 9, 1856) was an Italian scientist known for his research on gas volume, pressure, and temperature. He formulated the gas law known as Avogadro's law, which states that all gases, at the same temperature and pressure, have the same number of molecules per volume.Apr 28, 2019
