hey friend,

Relation:-

A set of input and output values, usually represented in ordered pairs, refers to a Relation.

such order pair are interrelated with each other by some rule..

example:- y = x^2

> Function:-

A function is a special relationship where each input has a single output.

=)every element has its own unique image.

suppose

set A = { a,b ,c ,d }

set B = { m,n ,o,p}

*so if A and B be function then every element of set A has unique image in set B

This is necessary and sufficient condition.

so we can say that every function is relation but every relation is not function.
