Correct answer is 65

let Ravina's book has x pages and Kajal's book has y pages

i.e. 3x/4 + 17 = x-20

3x = 4(x - 28 - 17)

=4(x-45) = 4x - 180

x = 180

Ravina's book has 180 pages.

Kajal read 3/5th part and 20 pages and 26 pages are left

i.e. 3y/5 +20 = y - 26

3y = 5(y-26-20) = 5(y-46)

= 5y - 230

y = 230/2 = 115

Kajal's book has 115 pages

180-115=65
