WELL HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :
SO FIRST OF ALL, "WHAT IS ADOLESCENCE?"
ADOLESCENCE : The period following the onset of puberty during which a young person develops from a child into an adult, this is known as adolescence.
NOW COMING TO THE EXPLANATION OF THE POINTS RELATED TO ADOLESCENCE :
1) PUBERTY : Puberty is the process of physical changes through which a child's body matures into an adult body and also becomes capable of sexual reproduction.This usually happens around 10-11 years for girls and around 11-13 years for boys.
>> CHANGES IN PHYSICAL APPEARANCE :
=> IN GIRLS :
> BREASTS START DEVELOPING : This is the first visible sign that shows that puberty is starting. It’s normal for the left and right breasts to grow at different speeds.
> The girls will have a growth spurt i.e. the heights of the girls would start increasing kinda rapidly.
> The girl's body shape changes i.e. widening of hips takes place.
> The girl's pubic hair will start to grow.
> In girls PERIODS will start i.e. the lining of the uterus along with blood will shed every month. The girl might get pain during the periods but there is no need to worry as its really normal and there is nothing to worry about.
=> IN BOYS :
> Growth of the external genitals (testes, penis and scrotum).
> Pubic hair will start to grow.
> Growth spurt i.e rapid increase in height and broadening of shoulders and chest.
> Hair will start growing (under arms) and even the facial hair (beard, moustache).
> The boy will start getting erections and ejaculating (releasing sperms).
> The voice of the boy would become deeper and harsh.
>> HORMONES :
The first stage of hormonal reactions starts when the hypothalamus releases a hormone called gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GRH). This hormone, in turn, signals the pituitary gland,to release luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). These are the hormones that start the process of sexual development, and they go to work differently in boys and girls.
This causes estrogen to be released in females and testosterone in males. (LH) interacts with estrogen, testosterone, and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) to cause breast and penis development, pubic hair and voice change.
2) THE REPRODUCTIVE PHASE :
With the onset of puberty, the eggs begin to mature in the ovaries of a women. During this period, the inner lining of uterus grows and become thick and spongy, and prepares itself to receive the fertilized egg.In case the fertilization of egg cell occurs by sperm , the fertilized egg cell begins to divide to form an embryo.The embryo then gets embedded in the thick uterus lining.This results in PREGNANCY which ultimately leads to the birth of a baby.
If fertilization does not occur due to lack of sperm, then the egg released by the ovary dies and the thick uterine lining breaks down. Since the thick uterus lining contains a lot of blood vessels, its break down produces blood. The blood and the tissues that comes out of vagina of woman in the form of a BLEEDING.
The bleeding from the uterus which occur in a woman or mature girl every month is called MENSTRUATION.
3) ROLE OF OTHER HORMONES : EXPLAINED ABOVE.
4) REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH : It is defined as a state of physical, mental and social well- being of a person in all matters relating to the reproductive system at all stages of life.
>> THE CONDITIONS TO MAINTAIN A GOOD REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH ARE :
> IT IS NECESSARY TO EAT A BALANCED DIET : It is important to eat balanced diet during adolescence because a rapid growth and development of the body takes place during this period.
> IT IS NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN PERSONAL HYGIENE.
> IT IS NECESSARY TO TAKE ADEQUATE AMOUNT OF PHYSICAL EXERCISE.
> IT NECESSARY TO AVOID TAKING OF ANY DRUGS.

THANK YOU.
