Raman's work time = 8 ½ hours or 8 hrs 30 mins

Rohit's work time = 8hrs 30 mins - 30%

=8½/100 × 30

= 255/100

= 2.55 hours less work

so 8.30 - 2.55 = 5 hours 75 minutes

= 5 ¾ hours
