The other number = 60-x (their sum is 60)

According to the question, 60-x-x = 10

(Thier difference is 10)

=>60-2x=10

=>2x=60-10=50

=>x=50/2=25

60-x=60-25=35

Thus, the two numbers are 25 and 35.

Their ratio = 25/35=5/7=5:7.

8) The three angles of a triangle are (x+10)°, (2x-15)° and (x+25)°.

Since the angles of a triangle add up to 180°,

x°+10°+2x°-15°+x°+25° = 180°

=>4x°+20°=180°

=>4x°=180°-20°=160°

=>x°=160°/4°=40°

Thus, the three angles are:

(x+10)°=(40+10)°=50°

(2x-15)°=(40×2-15)°=(80-15)°=65°

(x+25)°=(40+25)°=65°
