Hi .,
As given that speed of. both is equal.So they will cover equal distance in the same time.
Let the distance covered each of them be ‘x’ m..see picture.
As PQR is right angled traingle .so we can apply Pythagoras theorem on it.

we get x= 13.68m.So,distance form the hole is = 24-x =24-13.68= 10.32
