\huge\mathfrak{Bonjour!!}

\huge\bold\pink{ANSWER:}

i) 4y² -8y +3

Write -8y as a difference...

4y² -2y-6y +3

Factor out 2y and -3 from the expression...

2y(2y-1)-3(2y-1)

Now, having done with that, factor out 2y-1 from the very expression..

(2y-1)(2y-3)

The required factorization..

ii) + 6p -16

Write 6p as a difference..

+8p-2p -16

Factor out p and -2 from the expression..

p(p+8)-2(p+8)

Factor out p+8 from the expression..

(p+8)(p-2)

The required factorization..

Hope it helps...:-)

Have an adorable evening dear!!
