dissimilarity: flagella is only meant for movement whereas cilia is also involved in change of food and chemicals...

Cilia and flagella are cell organelles that are structurally similar but are differentiated based on their function & length.

Similarity : Both are used for movement.

Dissimilarity : cilia are small as compared to flagella  & numerous in number, whereas flagella is larger in size as compared to flagella & usually 1 to 8 in number.

Example : cilia in paramecium and flagella in euglena.
