Solution :

\underline{\bf{Given\::}}}}

On dividing the polynomial f(x) = x³ - 3x² + x + 2 by a polynomial g(x), the quotient q(x) & remainder r(x), which have q(x) = x - 2 & r(x) = -2x + 4.

\underline{\bf{Explanation\::}}}}

As we know that formula of the division of polynomial :

\boxed{\bf{Dividend=Divisor \times Quotient+remainder}}}

A/q

\longrightarrow\sf{f(x) = g(x) \times q(x) + r(x)}\\\\\longrightarrow\sf{x^{3} -3x^{2} +x+2=g(x) \times( x-2)+(-2x+4)}\\\\\longrightarrow\sf{x^{3} -3x^{2} +x + 2 =g(x) \times (x-2) -2x + 4}\\\\\longrightarrow\sf{x^{3} -3x^{2} +x+2 +2x-4=g(x) \times (x-2)}\\\\\longrightarrow\sf{x^{3} -3x^{2} +3x -2=g(x)\times (x-2)}\\\\\longrightarrow\sf{g(x) = \dfrac{x^{3} -3x^{2} +3x-2}{x-2} }

We should divide then we get divisor by the question, so I give a attachment pic of divide, according to attachment of photo.

∴ Divisor will be g(x) = x² - x + 1 .
