Given :- X and Y are mid points of side AC and BC also AX = CY
To Show :- AC = BC
Proof :- Since, X and Y are the mid points of side AC and BC .
By mid-point theorem ,
AX = CX = 1/2 AC -----1)
BY = CY = 1/2 BC ------2)
AX = CY
1/2 AC = 1/2 BC [ from eq. 1) and 2) ]
Therefore, AC = BC .
Hence Proved !
