Given, m + 2n = 7 ------: [ 1 ]
cube on both the sides ,
( m + 2n )³ = 7³
Comparing the Left hand Side to the indentity ( a + b )³ = a³ + b³ + 3ab( a + b ). opening brackets and doing as per identity.
( m )³ + ( 2n )³ + 3( m × 2n )( m + 2n ) = 343
m³ + 8n³ + 6mn( m + 2n ) = 343
Putting the value of m + 2n [ 1 ] ,
m³ + 8n³ + 6mn( 7 ) = 343
m³ + 8n² + 42mn = 343
