The triangle BFC and Parallelogram stands on same Base and between same paralell lines.

SAME BASE IS BC

So,

Area of triangle BFC = 1/2 (AREA OF PARALELLOGRAM) ---------(1)


Similarly,
Area of triangle CED = 1/2 (AREA OF PARALELLOGRAM) ---------(2)


On Comparing equation 1 and 2, we get

Area of triangle BFC = Area of triangle CED
