No, it is not required that bodies should be in physical contact.

Examples of Non- Contact force:- Gravitational, Magnetic, Electrostatic force e.t.c.

Answer:- 2

The three effects of Force are:-

=> The state of motion or rest gets changed. e.x.:- ball

=> It changes the shape or size of a body. e.x.:- Spring

=> It helps the body in motion to get some M.A. e.x. Pulley

Answer:- 3

b) It acts as a force Sustainer.

c) As it exerts more force on the object.

d) Longer arm reduces the force.

Moment = Force * Arm.

e) As it focuses all the force at one place and it has sharper boundaries.

f) Due to Body Temperature at high altitude. (Calorimetry)

g) For reducing the force implied by the heavy winds.

Answer:- 4

Rod A will not sink as it has lesser weight and mass and it implies less force on the sand.
