here ABCD is a parallelogram

So AB = CD

BC = AD

and both the pairs are parallel

Given that AB is produced up-to E

such that AB = BE

since AB is parallel to CD

So BE is also parallel to CD

and by the properties of parallel lines

BME is congruent to DMC

AND BY CPCT

CM = MB

hence ED bisects CB
