Let 1 be the p(x)

So therefore, p(1)

putting the value of 1 in the given equation:

x {}^{2} - 3x + 2 \\ {1}^{2} - 3(1) + 2 \\ 1 - 3 + 2 \\ = - 2 + 2 = 0

thus, 1 is the zero of the given polynomial

Now let 2 be the p(x)

So, putting the value of x in the given equation , we get:

 {x}^{2} - 3x + 2 \\ {2}^{2} - 3(2) + 2 \\ 4 - 6 + 2 \\ = - 2 + 2 \\ = 0

Thus 2 is also a zero of the given polynomial
