Let there is a right angled triangle with sides AB,AC and BC ,and AC be the longest side of the triangle.

So,in triangle ABC , AC=1m ,AB=80cm or 0.8m.

Find BC,

So let's find it out.

as we know in a right angled triangle,the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the square of the other two sides.

So,apply the formula over here,

Let BC be x.Then,

(AC)²=(AB)²+(BC)²

1²=0.8² + x²

=>1=0.64 + x²

=>1‐0.64=x²

=>0.36=x²

=>√0.36=x

=>0.6=x

therefore,

BC=0.6m

for finding the area of a triangle ,we have the formula

1/2 × base × height

so, let's find the area of this triangle.

1/2 × 0.6 × 0.8

=0.24m²

Hence,the area of the triangle is 0.24m²

Its given that the cost of the scarf is Rs 250 per m².

So,the cost of the scarf=Rs (0.24 × 250)

=Rs 60
