D = diameter of circle = 200 m

Total time to complete one round or revolution = T= 40 S

Hence Speed = distance / Time period

Speed = 2 π r / T
2π r = 2 * 3.14 * (200/2) = 6.28 * 100 = 628

speed = 628 m / 40 s
= 15 .7 m /s

distance covered after 2 m and 20 S = 140 S

distance = speed * time
= 15.7 * 140 = 2198 m / S

# distance and displacement are not the same.
displacement is the least distance between two points.
to cover 1 round 628 m is the distance .........
.total distance covered in 2.m and 20 S is 2198 m

hence round covered of circle are 2198 / 628 = 3.5 round.

it shows that we have covered 3 complete round and is at the half round of circle.
That means 1/2 th round.

hence displacement will be least straight distance between A and C as shown in figure which is equals to r+r = D = 200 m

# Hence ANSER IS THAT
distance = 2198 m and displacement = 200 m.

# I did full efforts from me to explain you I hope this will help you.
