let's take the two digit number as xy where x is in tens place and y in units place . it can also be expressed be 10x+y . example:54=5(10)+4. when reversed ,it becomes yx and can be written similarly as 10y+x. 10y+x=5/6(10x+y) =>6(10y+x) =5(10x+y) => 60y+6x=50x+5y =>55y=44x=>5y/4=x
As it is given that ten's digit is one more than unit's digit =>x=y+1 =>x-y=1 =>5y/4-y=1 =>y/4=1 =>y=4.So the number is 54.
