If you have to convert a decimal 8nto a fraction first remove the decimal point. Then divide the number with the number of digits after the decimal point.

Eg 98.00
98/100
67.89
6789/100
3421.4357
34214357/10000
32.987
32987/100
0.98
98/100

aurora4652: Thanks a lot

first see the number of digits after the decimal point then after counting the number of digits divide the number without the decimal point by the multiples of 10 depending on the number of digits after the decimal point suppose there is one digit after the decimal point then divide the number by ten if there are two digits after the decimal point then divide the number by hundred so it's like one digit after the decimal point one zero two digits means two zeros in the denominator if three digits after the decimal point then three zeros in the denominator and then see whether you can simplify it to the lowest term or not.

Examples:
1- 23.1=231/10
2-12.5=125/10=25/2
3-2.25=225/100=45/50=9/10
4-3.3333=33333/10000

aurora4652: Thanks buddy
