The formulas are as follows:-

Total face value=number of shares * face value of one share

Annual dividend=dividend%*total face value

No of shares=Total investment/market value

[when shares are purchased from the market]

No of shares=Total investment/face value

[when shares are purchased from the company]

Rate of income or rate of return= Dividend/Investment*100%
