We know that, a^{2} -b^{2} = (a+ b)(a-b)

Therefore, (4 +\sqrt{3} )(4 - \sqrt{3} ) = (4)^{2} - (\sqrt{3} )^{2}

Thus, (4 +\sqrt{3} )(4 - \sqrt{3} ) = (16 - 9) = 7

As "7" is a rational number, (4 +\sqrt{3} )(4 - \sqrt{3} ) is also rational.

Also, mark me as brainliest.
