Given;

length= 10 cm

we know;

area of square = l^ 2

= 10^2

= 100 cm^2

again;for(i)

if length is increased by 2 cm

length= 10×2=20cm

area = l^2

=20^2

=400 cm^2

now;

difference= 400-100 = 300cm^2

Again; for (ii)

if length is increased by 3 times

length= 10×3=30cm

area = l^2

=300^2

=900 cm^2

now;

difference= 900-100= 800cm^2
