Difference between Jaya's and Velu's personality.
Explanation:
Velu was a little boy who was eleven years old. He decided to run away from his home because of his drunkard father. His father used to snatch all the money they would earn and be very abusive.
Jaya was also a little girl who was a ragpicker. She had dirty hair. She promised Velu to arrange his food. She taught him the ways to live in the city. Jaya taught Velu the process of collecting the wastes and selling them to earn money.
Velu and Jaya both are poor children. They both have undergone the worst conditions of their lives. Jaya on one hand, had no complaints about rag-picking, while Velu opted for this job only because of necessity. Jaya helped Velu at the time when he was very alone and had no food to eat. She was very sensitive and affectionate. Velu didn't appreciate the work and wanted to leave as soon as he would get any other job.
