plz give me examples of simultaneously equations.

Simultaneous equations are those which contain two variables in each equations and has to be solved simultaneously( all together at once).
For example
X + Y = 5.........i
X - Y = 3..........ii
Now on adding both these equations, +Y and -Y get cancelled and X + X becomes 2X and 5+3 becomes 8. So the equation would be
2X = 8
X = 8/2
X = 4
Substituting the value in equation 1, we get
Y = 5-X
Y = 5-4 = 1
So the answer is X = 4 and Y = 1.
