4 -  \frac{2(z - 4)}{3}  =  \frac{1}{2} (2z + 5)

 \frac{12 - 2z + 8}{3}  =  \frac{2z + 5}{2}

 \frac{20 - 2z}{3}  =  \frac{2z + 5}{2}

2(20 - 2z) = 3(2z + 5)

40 - 4z = 6z + 15

40-15 = 6z +4z

25 = 10 z

z = 25/10

z = 5/2
