Cost of 12 notebooks us ₹300

a) Cost of one notebook= ₹300/12

= ₹25

Cost of 16 notebooks= ₹25*16

= ₹400

b) Cost of one notebook= ₹25

No. of notebooks one should get for ₹500= ₹500/₹25

= 20 books
