to prove =PQ^=2PR^

Proof=PQ^=PR^+RQ^【BY PYTHAGORAS THEOREM】

PQ^=PR^+PR^:. (PR=RQ)

SO,

PQ^=PR^+PR^

PQ^=2PR^

HENCE PROOVED

Let the two equal sides of the isosceles triangle be X

Now applying Pythagoras property in triangle PQR,we get

PQ²= PR² +RQ²

=X² + X²

=2X²

= 2(PR)²

Hence ,proved.
