In the drama dear departed , there are many characters like Abel merryweather, her daughters elizabeth and ammelia and her husbands. In this drama auther want to describe the modern culture where the grandparents are nothing to the sons and daughters. They do not care about their parents and leave them lonely . In the drams too, elizabeth and ammelia did not care about her father and were very happy when they thought that grandpa was died. But when they saw that grandpa was alive and coming downstairs they were very sad.From auther was sccessfull in describing the modern culture in this drama.
