Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

The length ,breadth and height of the room 5m 60cm ,4m 20cm and 3m 50 cm respectively.

To find:-

Find the longest rod that can measure the room.

Solution:-

The length of the room (l)=5m 60cm

(1m =100 cm ). l=560m

Breadth of the room (b)=4m20cm=420cm

Height of the room (h)=3m50cm=350 cm

The longest that can measure the room exactly

is their HCF.

560=2×2×2×2×5×7

420=2×2×3×5×7

350=2×5×5×7

Common factor=2×5×7=70

70 cm is the longest measure the room exactly.

Answer:-
