MENSTRUAL CYCLE IS A REGULAR AND NATURAL CHANGE WHICH OCCURS IN FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM THAT MAKES THE PREGNANCY POSSIBLE.
STEP BY STEP EXPLANATION

1) female reproductive system consists of ovary,fallopiantubes,uterus , vagina .
2) it is the coordination of all these parts in which a fertilisation occurs in females . when a male sex gamate sperm reaches with a female sex gamate egg the fertilisation occurs.
3) thus after the fertilisation the zygote is formed and it implants itself in the uterus. the uterus have already made a suitable environment for the zygote to implant .
BUT THIS IS ONLY IN THE CASE OF FERTILISATION.

if the egg is not fertilised by the sperm, the soft inner lining in the uterus begin to flow as vaginal blood through the vagina.this is called vaginal bleeding. thus due to the non fetilisation of the egg by the sperm this occurs and this is known as menstrual cycle . it happens for womens every once in a month.
menarche is the first stage where the menstrual cycle occurs and menopause is the stage where menstrual cycle stops in females.
