Answer:

given: a^2-(b+1) , a=1/2 and b=-3/4

soln:

a^2 = (1/2)^2

= 1×1/2×2

= 1/4

through the given equation substitute the value of a and b ..

= 2/4 - (-3/4+1)

LCM of (-3/4+1)

= -3/4+4/4 = 1/4

since , (-) × (+) = (-)

= 2/4 - 1/4

=1/4 ....

therefore the value is equal to 0.25
