▪X + y = 2y - 3

▪x - 2y + y + 3 = 0

x - y = -3 _________(1)

▪$\frac{x - 1}{y - 1} = \frac{1}{2}$

▪$2(x - 1) = y - 1$

▪$2x - 2 = y - 1$

▪$2x - y = 1..........(2)$

subtract 1 from 2

2x - y = 1
x - y = -3

x = 4


▪$from \: 2 \\ 2 \times 4 - y = 1 \\ 8 - y = 1 \\ - y = 1 - 8 \\ y = 7$

▪$so \: fraction \: is \: \: \frac{4}{7}$
