Explanation:

a) The deflection of the needle shows that the elctric circuit produces magnetic rays through which the needle of the compass was deflected.

b) The bulb did not glow in the first case as there was low quatity of cell attached to thw circuit. But, in the second case the bulb will glow as there is enough power to glow the bulb.
