Given Equation is 2^x = 4^y = 8^z.

2^x =  2^{2y} =  2^{3z}

x = 2y = 3z.

Now,

Given : ( \frac{1}{2x} +  \frac{1}{4y} +  \frac{1}{6z} ) =  \frac{24}{7}

=  \frac{1}{2(3z)} +  \frac{1}{2(2y)}  +  \frac{1}{6z} =  \frac{24}{7}

=  \frac{1}{6z} +  \frac{1}{2(3z)} + \frac{1}{6z}  =  \frac{24}{7}

 = \frac{1}{6z} +  \frac{1}{6z} +  \frac{1}{6z} =  \frac{24}{7}

 \frac{3}{6z} =  \frac{24}{7}

 \frac{1}{2z} =  \frac{24}{7}

7 = 48z

z = 7/48.

Hope this helps!

prashantjain111: plz you tell me how u equal all the terms as z
prashantjain111: plz tell me
siddhartharao77: 2^x = 2^2y = 2^3z.. Their powers should be added.x = 2y = 3z.. Therefore x = 3z(or) x = y. or y = 3z
siddhartharao77: *I mean their powers will be =.
siddhartharao77: Anything else..
siddhartharao77: If u still didn't understood, tell me . I can solve in another method also.
prashantjain111: ok I understand
prashantjain111: i upload a question again plz solve my another question
siddhartharao77: You should get one more doubt. Why we have taken x and y as 6z? Because In the question it is askes to solve z value
prashantjain111: I upload a question again plz give the answer of my question
