1.) Evolution is an accumulation of changes in body design that allows organisms to survive better .
2).Charles Darwin first described the idea of evolution in 1859 in his book ,The origin of species.
3.) Classification helps us in exploring the diversity of life forms.
4. )All the groups formed by Whittaker are formed on the basis of their cell structure,mode of nutrition ,and body organisation.
5. )All living organisms are divided in the above bases into five kingdoms ,namely Monera,Protista,Fungi,Plantar,and Animalia.
6. )Plantae and Animalia are further divided into subdivisions on the basis of increasing complexity of body organisation .
7. )Plants are divided into five groups: Thallophytes ,Bryophytes ,Pteridophytes, Gymnosperms and Angiosperms .
