9 \sqrt{3}

length of side(base)= 6
area =1/2× base × height
putting values
height =
3 \sqrt{3}

Area of triangle = 9root3 cm^2
Length of each side of triangle = 6 cm  (base)
Are of triangle = 1/2*base*height
Therefore,
9root3 = 1/2*6*height
height = 9root3*2/6
height = 18root3/6
height = 3root3

Hence the altitude of triangle is 3root3 cm
