height=2x

volume of cylinder =πr^2h

 

22/7 X (3x)^2 X 2x =19404

 

=9x^2 X 2x = 19404 X 7/22

 

=9x^2 X 2x=6174

=18x^3 =6174

 

=x^3 = 6174/18

 

=x^3 =343

=x =7  

so radius= 3x= 3 X 7 =21cm

height= 2x= 2 X 7 =14cm

 

2.circumferenceof base of cylinder =88cm

height=15cm

find volume

volume=πR^2h

circumference = 2πr

so let radius be 'r'

=2πr=88

 

=2 X 22/7 X r = 88

 

= 44/7X r =88

 

= r = 88 X 7/44

 

= r =radius =14cm

 

volume = πr^2h

 

= 22/7 X (14)^2 X 15

 

= 22/7 X 14 X 14 X 15

=44 X 14 X 15

=9240cm^3 (9240 cm.cube)
