hey here is ur answer

area of trapezium = 1/2*(a+b)*h

850=1/2*(64+b)*17

850*2/17=64+b

100-64=b

b=36cm

Here is your answer....

Given,

Area of trapezium is 850cm^2

One of the parallel side is 64cm

Distance between the two parallel sides of the trapezium is 17cm

Another side = ?

Let us take the other side as' x'

Area of trapezium = 1/2×(a+b) h

850 = 1/2×(64+x)17

850×2 =(64+x)17

1700 = (64+x) 17

1700/17 =(64+x)

100 =(64+x)

100-64 = x

36 = x

Therefore the other parallel side is 36cm.
